It seems more matches are becoming hand picked vs a ranking system. At least with boxing you have the WBA, WBC, and IBF, with these titles the governing body decided who fights who for the championship, but with UFC or MMA fighting in general, the opponents are hand picked fro the champions or at least it seems to be that way. For while before the way pro wrestling related they dont storm down the sport for while.
An upcoming match even though they would have gladly snatched up few years ago.

No but I feel like there is TOO MUCH ground fighting. I know it is effective and it’s is all tactical but 3 to 5 minutes of ground fighting can get very boring.
